Is a professional facial cleanse the same as exfoliating at home?
No. We choose a professional cleanse after we look at the skin. We extract only where it is needed. A home peel is a product on a schedule. One does not replace the other.
A home peel is a scrub, an acid, or a cloth on a schedule. A professional cleanse in this cabinet starts with a look: what the skin can take today, where it is clogged, and where we should leave it alone.
We do not always extract. If the skin is thin, inflamed, or tired from the sun, we use a gentle ultrasound or we wait. After that comes calm care, not a tight face you want to hide.
At home after a visit, most people need a gentler cleanse, not a stronger peel. Acids in the same week as a cleanse are usually too much for the skin.
This is a cosmetic cleanse in Aventura, not acne treatment. We do not diagnose or treat disease.
